Your donations help create opportunities for employment, independence, and community inclusion.Donation Hours
We can only accept donations during regular business hours at our La Plata and Charlotte Hall locations. Items left outside when we’re closed may be exposed to weather or damage and, unfortunately, cannot be accepted.
Please bring help for unloading heavy furniture and have loose items in boxes or bags.
*Donations are only accepted up to 30 minutes before closing.

What We Accept
We gladly accept the following items in clean, sellable condition at our La Plata and Charlotte Hall stores.
Books, toys and games
Home goods and décor
Clothing and accessories for all ages
Seasonal Items
We also accept old and unsellable clothing, shoes and purses. We will recycle them for you.
Please mark the bag “For recycling” when donating.
Items We Are Unable to Accept
For safety, health, and space reasons, we are unable to accept the following:
- Sleeper Sofas
- Large Appliances
- Console Televisions/Stereos
- Exercise Equipment
- Mattresses/Box Springs
- Water Beds
- Other Furniture Items That Are Torn, Ripped or Stained
- Cribs, Highchairs, Car Seats (Due To Safety And Recalls)
- Outdated Furniture
- Lawn Equipment
- Out-Of-Season Clothing Items
- Old Electronics
- Broken Or Damaged Items
