Policies

Donation Drop Off

When dropping off donations at any of our three locations, we ask that you FIRST check in with the retail clerk at the front counter. The clerk will instruct you to either put your donations into the donation bin located in the front of the store or to drive to the rear of the store and unload your donations into our rear sorting areas. At any time, one of our friendly employees can help you load or unload items from your vehicles.

Purchases

All sales are FINAL. All items we sell are donated and every effort is made to inspect and test every product before it goes to our sales floor. Please inspect and test each item before purchasing. Ask one of our friendly employees for access to an electrical outlet if you would like to plug an item in. We cannot offer refunds, returns or exchanges on any item.

Payments

  • Our Charlotte Hall and La Plata locations accept cash, checks and most major credit cards
  • Our Bryans Road location accepts cash and checks only.

Unfortunately, we cannot hold items or offer layaway on any items. Payment is expected at time of purchase.

Furniture Purchases

Any furniture/large item purchases must be picked up within 24 hours of purchase. If the item is not picked up within 24 hours the item may be placed back on the floor to be sold and a refund will not be issued.
